Newly ADmitted Student Receptions

The College of LAS wants its newest students to feel welcome in their new academic home. We have arranged for several receptions that will offer you another opportunity to ask questions about the college or your major and how you can begin to shape your future.

Admitted Student Day Receptions

The College of LAS hosts receptions for newly admitted students on each of the campus’s Admitted Students Days, which are held in the spring. The reception is in the afternoon, immediately following the college meeting that students admitted to LAS attend as part of the day-long activities.

James Scholar Reception

Students who have been accepted into the College of LAS as James Scholar honors students are invited to learn more about the program and meet other incoming scholars during a reception in the Chicago area.
