Regional and National Internships

The International Council on Clean Transportation
The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) summer internship program offers advanced students in environmental and engineering disciplines a rich opportunity to contribute directly and materially to laying the foundations of scientifically sound, technologically forward-looking regulation of vehicles and fuels in the major transportation markets of the world, from North America and Europe to China and India and Latin America. ICCT staff work with national governments, multilateral bodies such as the UN’s International Maritime Organization and International Civil Aviation Organization, universities, and nongovernmental organizations to develop regulations and public policies that improve the environmental performance and energy efficiency of passenger vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, ships, and aircraft, in order to benefit public health and mitigate climate change. The range of possible projects that interns could become involved is very broad, reflecting the scope of the ICCTs work. Application deadline is May 3.
