- First Tuesday Dialogue: Building Community through Interfaith Service

- What are the opportunities and tensions in building a community across theological and philosophical differences? Where can we come together with one another? The final First Tuesday Dialogue of 2011-2012 school year will reflect upon our campus response to the White House Interfaith and Community Service Challenge, considering where weve been, and where we have to go. - Invisible Children interns will be coming to show the film Kony 2012 and answering questions from audience members. There will also be a Ugandan citizen there who has experienced the war in central Africa firsthand. Bring your enthusiasm, your skepticism, your questions and concerns! We can’t wait to meet you.

- Interested in a scholarship for international study, research, or teaching English after graduation? The Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards approximately 1,700 grants annually and operates in 140 countries. The workshop includes advice from recent Illinois Fulbright recipients. The session is targeted to juniors, seniors, and graduate students who wish to explore Fulbright opportunities and ready materials for the Fulbright Priority Application Deadline of July 2, 2012, for programs beginning in fall 2013.
