Academy Mission Statement

The mission of the Teaching Academy of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences is to offer programs and resources cultivating teaching excellence in the classroom and online. Our vision is to create a thriving learning community for teachers in the College of LAS so that they can significantly impact student learning and development. Specifically, faculty development programs and resources are aimed at educating faculty in effective teaching techniques and in establishing a faculty learning community across disciplines.
