Cool CoursesEALC 132/RLST 132: Zen
Although meditation is not a required class practice, students may be curious about the experiential wisdom the Buddhists believe is attained through it. By exploring the history, teachings, and practice of Zen Buddhism in China and Japan, students will develop a deeper understanding of one of the most studied world religions. Zen is most notable for its practices of being mindful of the present and releasing judgmental thinking. Students with an open mind and interest in the power of religion will absolutely appreciate this eye-opening course. Consider enrolling in this course this fall.
